ROCKABILLY ROUGHNECK RETURNS AFTER TWO YEAR BATTLE WITH CANCER

The Twistin' Tarantulas, a hard-edged rockabilly trio from Detroit, are finally back on the road. Their leader "Pistol" Pete Midtgard has been declared cancer-free after three surgeries and two rounds of aggressive chemical treatments over a two-year span. This, combined with a year taken off to record their most recent release, "El-Destroyo,” has kept them off the national circuit for three years. This is not to say that cancer kept Pete from playing, which he did locally every weekend during the battle (including a gig the same night as one of his surgeries!).
